Virtual Garden Bootcamp
Cutting Garden Kickstart: Fall Tasks for a Spring Start
During our time together, you’ll learn everything you need to do this fall to prepare for the spring cutting garden of your dreams.
By the end of our time together, you will have:
Your garden site selected: you’ll know where your garden will go and you’ll be armed with data about the type and quality of soil, drainage, topography, water sources, and convenience so you have the best spot picked out.
💐 The actual size of your garden so you know what you' can plant and where. Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through how big it needs to be whether you’re growing perennials, annuals, or both.
🌱 Knowledge of how to test and amend your soil, which is the foundation of a healthy garden!
🌻 A plan for removing or reducing lawn, a key element of an eco-garden that will allow you to plant more flowers! I’ll walk you through the low-till and no-till methods.
❄️ A winter plan so you can keep the momentum going all season long and be fully ready to start planting in the spring.
👀 If you show up live, you’ll get a special (and free!) bonus that will help you DIY beautiful bouquets from home.

👋 Hi, I’m Xenia and I’ve been designing flower gardens for 15 years and operating a flower farm for the past 10. Having my hands in the soil brought me healing and ignited my passion for sustainable gardening and horticulture. In 2012 I started Sweet Earth Co. which specializes in growing specialty cut flowers and herbs, designing gardens and floral installations, and teaching people just like you how to start your own climate-friendly cutting gardens. Read below what some of my students are saying about how I’ve helped them.
